I had a cretan massage/full body massage with Emma. Who was lovely, friendly and put me at ease. All round an amazing resort all the staff are 5star and go the extra mile to make your stay fun and enjoyable. I came with my family, my little girl really enjoyed the children's entertainment facilities.

I just can't fault the place, all the staff were exceptional the facilities great, plenty of good food. It seems to me they go well out of their way to make your holiday the best they can. Of particular mention are Maria at the poseiden bar and the entertainment team of matteo, paulina, aurelian and mickey who never seem to rest. The kids lived the kids club and the proximity of all the bits which meant they could and grab things for themselves. The place is spotless and there's a constant stream of people clearing and tidying. Just a great hotel with very close proximity to the beach and other towns

Our first time to Crete, and it did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived it was just amazing. The hotel was spotless, rooms lovely staff so friends and work so hard. The food wow absolutely amazing we loved the snacky foods at the pool bar gyros was our favourite just amazing, kids loved the pizza burgers and hotdogs. Breakfast & lunch always something for everyone. Beach 5 minutes walk away from hotel, we visited the aquarium which is about 25 minutes walk. Water park was amazing kids loved it unlimited drinks food & ice cream was so good. Only 20 minutes away from the airport. If your planning on going go you will have a great time we travelled with a 6 & 1 year old.

Amazing hotel, everyone was so kind and friendly and made our daughter birthday magical thankyou for the amazing week and the amazing entertainment. I've got nothing negative to say about the hotel. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

We had a great family week here in April. The team were all friendly and accommodating. The rooms, although basic, are immaculately clean and inviting. The pools were lovely and the kids enjoyed the slides. We were all inclusive, so the choice of food and drink was plentiful. Great selection of food at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant team went above and beyond to keep clearing and turning tables. Hats off to them. Both adults in our party had a treatment - both fantastic. Bit disappointing though that the steam room and Turkish bath were out of order. My only other comment would be it would be good during the day to always keep two windows open at the main bar for drinks service. Many time only one barperson was serving resulting in hefty queues. We hired a car for the week, which on reflection was a good idea. Used it to explore Knossos, the north coast beaches and inland over the mountains. All in all a great trip, and I would urge anyone who hasn't visited Crete to do so.

Plusieurs piscines et toboggans adaptés à tous les âges, du choix et de la qualité culinaires à toute heure. Le p'tit déjeuner est très adapté pour ceux qui aiment le salé ! Pains au chocolat et croissants nous ont manqués en revanche très bons pancakes. La piscine privative était très froide malheureusement. Les animations ne sont pas très nombreuses à cette période de l année et le soir elles ne débutent qu à 21h30. Le personnel est serviable, sympathique et souriant. Le complexe est bien situé, proche mer, location facile de voiture pour visiter les sites touristiques.

We’re just returning home (just boarded the plane) from a very relaxing week at Gouves Waterpark Hotel in Crete. The hotel is made up of several blocks each with its own pool. The water was cold but it was just the very start of the summer season and there’s a heated outdoor pool in the centre of the hotel complex. Kids are well entertained with the kids club, waterpark and the slides are for kids and adults. Every member of staff in the hotel is so friendly and nothing is a bother to any of them.   The food is very good and the snack bar is AMAZING... proper burgers, pizzas and pork or chicken kebabs (gyros). I would like to make special mentions to the following people who enhanced our holiday just by being so nice...  Aurelia and Mickey in the animation team – even though we didn’t get involved with the activities, they still took time to talk to us and Mickey even taught us the rules of UNO. Raphael the lovely bar man who kept us going on the double Baileys and the crazy bar lady (sorry, I didn’t get your name) who had us on the tequila the day we were leaving for home. A lot of the drinks were brand names. Vas, one of the managers who checked with us every day that we were not having any issues. Voila (with the immaculately pleated hair) is a sight to behold. She’s like a one-woman hurricane keeping the dining room clean and tidy. Anna in the shop. She was a delight to speak to every day and even taught us some Greek... Efharisto! Finally, at the airport we were stunned to find security staff and passport control smiling at us. I had to comment that its the first time I’ve been smiled at by passport officers. They said ‘You are in Crete’.

Amazing!! 2 adults 2 kids age 9 and 12. Resort was very very clean. Pool areas are great for kids. Water slides and splash park are great aswell as the pools . Activities for adults to take part in during the day aswell as an amazing kids club . The animation team were amazing. They are also so friendly whether you see them at breakfast or at 10.30 at night. Great selection of food and drink on the all inclusive. Had a back, neck and Scalp massage at the spa which was absolutely amazing! Would definitely recommend

Great hotel and staff cannot do enough to help! Reception lady on our check in was great. We travelled with 2 teenagers 16 and 14 who loved the slides and there was plenty of beds and different pools to choose from ( if your travelling with young’s ones then the family room is good as your right near the little pool) like us with teenagers maybe better with a family suite as got privacy and quieter area. Our pool near the family suites had its own bar with soft drinks , coffee and beer available and Nevalia ( not sure if spelling) was so lovely and very chatty. I’m wheat intolerant and the restaurant managers Gorge and Alexandro were excellent advising foods that I could have and making a Gluten free pizza and pasta available. We booked the umami restaurant as part of our inclusive offer which was again great food and with a gluten free option. We used the spa for a hydra facial and other half had a back, neck and head massage both fantastic and Emma our therapist was so nice and professional - fully relaxed

Room was lovely and clean on arrival, beds clean and made up, comfortable to sleep in too. Whole complex was well looked after, clean throughout. Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Food was good variety and tasted lovely. Lots of amazing pools lots to do for children. Great for families would highly recommend

We experienced genuine happiness in this resort like a family! The kids had so much fun plus the parents their programs at night are never ending keeping the spirit of each other alive! There’s never a dull moment in this resort. My son’s favourite part is the mini disco for the kids, my son never liked the crowd but now he always mentions he wants to join the mini disco and danced on stage. It was wonderful! My daughter also joined the bingo night and won! The staff are spectacular! I can’t say anything less. We spent one week in this waterpark hotel and still not enough we wish we stayed even longer. Thank you so much to the entertainers keeping the night fabulous Aurelia,Paulina Mickey and Matteo!!! These people never get tired to keep the party going. One thing I also love about this hotel is the kids’ club you can literally leave your children inside the club and they will be taken care of by Paulina and the staff so the parents can enjoy unlimited drinks in the bar! Overall!! Amazing stay!!!

We will definitely return to Crete and when we do I would be more than happy to stay at Gouves water park with my family. Clean and modern accommodation with friendly, helpful staff. The food was what you would expect from an all inclusive but was always fresh, well cooked and abundant. We enjoyed breakfast and the street food for lunch.

Realy enjoyed staying at this hotel ,the rooms we booked were clean and comfortable, the food in the resteraunt was varied and good quality ,we all took advantage of the gyros pizza and burgers on offer and the kids loved being able to get an ice-cream or drink from the pool side kiosk whenever they wanted. Easy walk to the town seafront and beach. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The entertainment team did a great job all through the day. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Very nice, big and clean hotel. Wonderful staff and very service-minded. 1 week is enough, although very nice hotel, I was glad I could leave it again and see something different. To be honest, that’s the same experience I have with most all-inclusive. The all-inclusive menu could be a little bit more exciting, and for some reason, the juices are way too strong (need 4 times as much water, but they checked it, and it should be ok, according to Greece standards). Coffee is just boring. Couple of things that could be improved: keep the “children” swimming pools open a bit longer, accidents do happen in children pools - clean it straight away, too long lines for drinks and ice-cream.

Absolutely amazing

This was our first holiday since covid as we ahve had 3 cancelled during this period and this was a well needed break, THE RAIN COULD HAVE PISSED OFF!!! but nothing to do with the hotel or surroundings, it was a lovely hotel we arrived at 11pm and they had sandwiches and bottles of water to give us to take up to our room, check in was quick and easy and was helped to our room. The entertainment was really good and we loved the bar staff. always giving us Raki (strong stuff), the food was what you expect in all inclusive. the burger and Gyros bar are amazing. 9 days was brilliant, even in the rain!!
