I can't recommend this hotel enough. One of the best I've stayed. The hotel is not the newest but the hotel and rooms are immaculate. The ambience of this hotel is peaceful and decadent. The service in this hotel is what makes this a 5* hotel to me. ALL the staff have amazing top class service on par with 5* plus hotels I've stayed such as asia gardens, costa blanca. Nothing is too much and you are threat as friends not just guests. Couple of special mentions... Nissan at the pool bar, Rebecca in the restaurant, the hotel fitness instructor and of course my favourite hotel manager of all time Valia Machaira. My partner and I have already looked for our next stay at this hotel! FABULOUS! Chris.

Just retuned from a 2 week stay at Pioneer Beach. Wow ,what a lovely stay , hotel so clean. Food excellent and everyone was so friendly and went out their way to make our stay so good. We were celebrating my husbands birthday and felt they really went out their way to make it special. Valia was very helpful and made our holiday . Will be returning later in the year. A big thank you to all the staff . Excellent customer service by all. Ron and Helen

We had a wonderful stay at the Pioneer Beach Hotel. It is in the most wonderful setting, right on the beach, and the customer service was fantastic. We were particularly impressed with Valia and her team on Reception. They were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

Excellent break booked for 4 nights with Tui. Hotel staff were all very helpful and friendly, special thanks go to Valia who was excellent and quickly resolved a niggle we had with our room. We were half board, breakfast and evening meal, was lovely. Hotel and grounds very clean. We plan to visit again in October.

Commendation to the hotel staff especially at the reception Mr. Safir, I'm not sure If I spelled his name correctly. I was very impressed with the dinner at the hotel, the food was excellent. The girls who were at the entrance for dinner are wonderful and kind. Everything was great!

This was a literal last minute snap trip to Cyprus via Tui - and I must say that I was very happy with my choice. Paid £1000 for 7 days All inclusive (incl. flights) in March - which i thought was very fair. EVERYONE everywhere speaks great English so no concerns with language. STAFF - Everyone is very kind, pleasant and indeed - will do anything to make you happy. That’s probably the biggest point for me albeit I do note that it was very quiet given its March so they had the time. ROOM - My room was lovely - perfectly cleaned and prepared from arrival to departure. Really appreciated the fruit in my room on arrival. Toiletries are replaced daily. I booked all inclusive but you should note that the mini bar will NOT be refilled. However - you can buy additional top ups at excellent prices from the well stocked shop downstairs (which is cheaper than the local supermarket). I will say that my room was HOT at night (and that’s in March) which made it uncomfortable - AC was NOT working - but that’s what your balcony is for! Apparently they think its still winter so wont turn it on??? OUTDOORS - Absolutely no issues with grabbing a sunlounger at any time of the day (albeit it is March). The outside areas are immaculate day and night and plenty of tables around the pool if you want to sit on your laptop (I know!). No noisy music - just relaxation all the way as one would expect from an adults only resort. I did note that the pool was COLD COLD COLD but i was told that the indoor pool was pleasantly warm. I also wouldnt really call the “beach” a “beach”. Whilst the sand was lovely, it wasnt the cleanest of beaches with some rubbish on the small shore and a fair amount of sea detritus. It also looked big stony in the (very cold but clean) water and I assume some seaweed - bring your aqua shoes!!! Admittedly, I’m totally spoilt by my recent travels to the Caribbean where they were up at 6am cleaning and combing the beach with rakes and the water was crystal clear. I chose not to swim at all during my trip. FOOD - Service was great - well oiled machine. Food in the buffet was great - good selection - very well cooked and a great selection of soup and salads. I thought the Asian station was actually the best with a friendly and experienced chef. It is NOT the most extensive of buffets by comparison to larger hotels - but what they do have is well chosen and well cooked. No tummy issues for me! I was not so keen on the lunchtime offering - it was very small and the hot food wasn't so hot. The A la carte is great! I had the fish - loved it. Great portions - great quality - should have tried the steak i guess! DRINKS - generally very good quality albeit, like the food, there could have been a wider offering. I personally didn't like the standard wine quality so stuck to the sparkling prosecco which was good. Service was excellent as usual. TUI BLUE - as opposed to many resorts now this is a higher service hotel and that means you have a TUI rep ON SITE for the vast majority of the day. I really appreciated this as a solo traveller. I should have told them that I think that an optional walk around the hotel would have helped with general orientation - but in all honesty - its small so you’ll find your bearings quickly enough. LOCATION - very good. Local Bus stop very nearby - take the local 611 bus for about 20 mins to get to the harbour and then the 610 to go onto the market. There is a very well stocked local supermarket about 10-15mins walk away. TRIPS - I took the local bus to the harbour (2 euro one way) and had a great afternoon there. I also went on the Famagusta trip because i wanted to see a bit of Cyprus. It was great and well priced - best tour guide i’ve ever had in all my life. 62 year old wondrous comedic superstar. Didnt believe it would be a 12 hour trip but it was … so a very tiring but really great day. CONCLUSION - All in all - a great choice if you’re looking for a quiet relaxing break. It was a little cool for me at this time of year but when the sun shone - it was beautiful. Like it is right at this very moment.

There is absolutely nothing this hotel could improve upon. From the time we arrived, when we were greeted with a glass of wine, to the time to left, all staff, without exception give you the impression that they are there to serve you. The rooms are exceptionally clean with the added bonus of a coffee machine with coffee replenished each day. Fruit and a bottle of wine were in the room on arrival together with dressing gowns and slippers. The toiletries in the bathroom are lovely with the towels changed every day. As a family we do not favour large hotels. The Pioneer Beach is perfect, it was just like home. We have been to several 4/5* hotels over many years but the food at this hotel was exceptional. The lounge in the evening provided just the right entertainment with singers, a piano player or just music. Lovely cocktails were a bonus. A leisurely walk to the harbour took approximately an hour because we stopped for coffee halfway at a cafe overlooking the sea. The bus service which was very good takes about 5 mins. If you choose to holiday at this hotel you will definitely not be disappointed.

From the moment we stepped into the hotel we felt very welcomed. All the staff, whatever their role, were friendly and VERY helpful. The hotel and our room was very clean and the room was cleaned, throughout, every day. During the week, the room opposite was being prepared for a new guest. The room door was propped open and we noticed that the cleaner had moved the bed to ensure that all areas of the floor was clean. I thought, that must have been done to our room, as well, prior to us checking in. Restaurant: Whether it was breakfast or evening meal, food was well displayed with an excellent choice across all courses. Some food was cooked to order and all food that was meant to be served hot, was hot. Pool area: No rush for sunbeds, though it was March. Sunbeds are around the pool, in a garden area and on the adjacent beach. Pool very clean. Would highly recommend this hotel. It's the best hotel, in all areas of service, that we have stayed in.

We have just got back from a fantastic week here. The rooms were clean and serviced daily by a lovely team. Beds were comfy. The food in the restaurant was great even for my picky other half who only likes plain foods the choice on all fronts was great. Recommend you try the al acarte restaurant brilliant service and choice of food. Tui blue staff on hand most of the day to answer questions. Reception staff always ready to help. Thank you Nicos and Valia to training your staff to give us a lovely relaxing week. We will be back and recommending to our friends. Room 259. Janet and Roger

Just returned from a fantastic time at the Pioneer Hotel. Treated extremely well by all staff at the hotel, everyone is so friendly, with a very special mention to Nikos and Valia, both the heart and soul of the hotel. Food was wonderful, service impeccable , looking forward to returning later in the year.

Had a great and very relaxing stay in a great Junior Suite, everything was catered for and all staff very happy to help where possible. Wouldn’t hesitate to return again next time starting in Cyprus! 5 stars!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you David & Chris

Absolutely first class, do NOT listen to the negative reviews As you arrive at the hotel, you are treated to the most luxurious treatment, nothing is to much trouble for the staff who are so friendly and accommodating. The welcoming drink is a bonus Food is standard, but plenty of it, the pancakes freshly made for breakfast are just delicious and if you can, try the a la carte restaurant which serves the most tender steaks I have ever eaten Lunch is amazing, make sure if your staying in a superior room like us you ask for the lunch menu, I highly recommend the BLT panini and the Carbonara The pool is beautiful with plenty of space although I would guess in the middle of July you’ll be fighting for a sun lounger, luckily in March not such a problem I would definitely give this hotel 5 stars, probably more if I could. We did such extensive research before choosing this hotel and I’m glad we did Second time to Paphos, first time we stayed in the Aliathon Village which was pretty amazing, but this place was above and beyond I really can’t praise this hotel enough, 100% coming back

Fantastic Hotel on the beach. We stayed for a week in a sea view room, the room was quiet, clean and serviceable. The staff throughout the hotel were exceptional and worked incredibly hard to make our stay special, led by a friendly and attentive management team. Food and drink is top quality and plentiful. We had a superb stay relaxing and fun, and have made many friends and memories. We are planning to return later this year and would highly recommend this hotel.
