Went to this hotel with children and grandchildren. The rooms were very dark, but that was not really an issue. Maybe a brighter bulb for the evenings? The bed was rock hard bit that was OK it's how I like it. The food was really quite good, I wouldn't say that there was a good kids selection but the didn't grow hungry so that was good. The beach and pool area were clean and well maintained. All in all was happy with the hotel for a family holiday,

I went to the spa. Stella and Victoria were very attentive and friendly. I had a deep massage with Panagiotis. He was very professional, and Eleni was amazing with my reflexology massage. I recommend 100% this Spa.

Victoria, Helena and Panagiotis @ Aegeo Spa were great. Very professional. I had the deep tissue and the anti stress massage and I came out like a new person. Highly recommended. Best holiday treat. The hotel itself is also amazing all of the staff are so helpful and very friendly. The Food offered in the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner has lots of options to choose from. We had the fried squid for lunch and it was so fresh and delicious. Prices are very fair also. I will come back again.

We have arrived back after a 5 day stay and all I can say is amazing! The hotel grounds are botanical, clean and beautiful our room was good and cleaned regularly. The food was so good we all went back for a second plate including my 1 year old son who couldn’t get enough of the cuisine. Special mention to Maria who served us regularly she was so lovely and enjoyed seeing my son and his smiles daily. Another special mention to Stella the masseuse, she gave me an amazing massage and was great company to talk too I will not forget them both. Overall a great stay and we will deffo return the only downside is the kids pool water machines turn off at 2pm which I think is too early if you’re coming with young children they won’t get to enjoy it fully if you get to the pool after 2pm.

The spa was an amazing experience. As a busy dad and business owner down time comes as a rarity. Stella was incredible to the point I fell asleep. For anybody looking to escape the world for an hour I highly recommend.

Great hotel, just spent a week at this resort and enjoyed the stay , cannot fault this hotel. very relaxing stay Excellent rooms clean and modern , rooms cleaned and towels changed daily ,very friendly service. all bar staff are very friendly and glad to help in any way , keep up the good work Nikos. Must say a big thank you to Maria ( hotel guest relations ) she will go out of her way to help you as best as she can.. The only thing i would have liked was a bit more choice of foods at Dinner time.. ( family of fussy eaters).. So thank you Portes beach hotel for a great holiday.

My Wife and our Twin Girls and I stayed here for a week. Great choice of food, as much as you want to consume all day. Great non selection of non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. The staff are great, nothing is an issue with them and everyone is happy to help. We would 100% return. The Jet2 rep was superb too.

Hotel lovely and clean. Sheets changed every other day. Clean towels in room daily but pool towels allowed to only change twice a week. Beach narrow but clean. Pool very cold had a quick dip but no. Drinks are fine, food is mostly ok just don't understand why its spaghetti with bolognaise most days lunch and evening. Staff quite and helpful. I didnt realise the location of the hotel was not in walking distance to anywhere. We like to go for a walk after dinner or on cloudy days and there is nothing. On a busy duel carriage way. Went to one of the small villages by shuttle but nothing really to see or do so spent 2 hours having a drink waiting for bus to return. The other bigger village is better especially on a Wednesday market day. To sum up clean , reasonable food and drink, safe for under 5's but older children and teenagers probably not. Our room was 240 and not one of the refurbished rooms in the pictures. Location not the best. Good budget holiday for complete rest and sunshine . Ladies take some hair conditioner.

The hotel is beautiful, great choice of food and high cleaning standards. Everything you could need is on site, but they also provide transfer coaches to nearby towns. The Spa was absolutely amazing!! Stella was very friendly and helped with whatever was need. Highly recommend booking a massage whilst here!

My massage therapist Elen was a very nice & professional that helped me with my back & stress problems it was so relaxing to be in her hands it made me feel great so I had to go back to see her on a number of occasions while I was on holiday , Thank you so much Elen

This hotel has a four star rating which is probably spot on except that the food is 5 star ( amazing) . There is a decent size pool with plenty bed’s around. No need to put a towel on a chair in the morning. Then a 50 metre stroll from the pool bar to your own beach with ample loungers and umbrellas and tables for your drinks at no extra cost . Lots of water sports available too. Then if you try the spa or get a massage they are brilliant as well . I got a 60 min deep tissue massage with Eleni it was fabulous so much so I booked another before I left . A great holiday. *****

The arrangement of the facilities - The beach is a bit too rocky

Had a good experience one week holiday. Hotel is a family hotel. Perfect if you just want to relax by the pool or beach. Staff work very hard keeping the area clean & tidy for guests. A good selection of food everyday - plenty of choice. Free bottles of water given at bars. The asset of this hotel is the beach location, it is not close to any other shops or bars. We did walk to nea poteidaia one day but would not recommend the walk to anyone with mobility issues or prams, due to state of some of the paths . Hotel runs a courtesy bus to a couple of nearby places . The hairdryers were good so no need to pack your own. WiFi signal was excellent indoors & out. There is book shelf if you run out of reading materials. My partner was badly bitten by mosquitoes which meant we did not venture out to pool entertainment at night. Closest pharmacy in the nearby towns so do pack things you might need. There is a shop onsite . There is also what looks like a nice jewellers in the hotel but no prices on display which put me off venturing in (assumed it must be expensive) As someone who has travelled solo many times I would say this felt a safe place to be. So if you want to chill & relax this isa good place to go.

Just got home from staying at Portes beach hotel as a family of 4. The hotel is lovely and clean staff are friendly and helpful. Room is clean and spacious for family of 4. Great hotel for staying with kids as beach park pool are right there. Not much to do other than the beach and pool but you can get taxis to other places which we did. My kids are fussy eaters we did struggle with the food choice but we did eat out few times as we did half board. Would recommend the hotel
